I admit it, I watch too much Fox and friends. I do so because it makes rowing (my morning workout) easier. The angrier I get, the harder I row, and the sooner I finish.
This morning, I watched as Laura Ingraham tried to justify why we shouldn't allow a mosque to be built in downtown NYC. She blathered on about how the Muslim world would never allow the United States to build a church near Mecca after bombing it. In other words, we should take our cues from the Saudis. Seriously. And I bet a couple million folks who watched her bought into it.
What I was struck by was the image of a woman, wearing a sleeveless dress, pontificating on political and religious matters on national television. That, too, is something the Muslim world would never tolerate.
Be careful what you ask for Miss Laura, you might just get it.
